Dr. Marshall

Dr. Larry Marshall graduated from Virginia Tech in 1966 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and began his professional career with the Boeing Company working on the Apollo Moon Landing Project. He holds a Master's Degree from the University of Alabama (Huntsville) and a Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech. Dr. Marshall retired in 2008 after a 34-year career with DuPont as a DuPont Fellow, the company's highest technical position. Today, Dr. Marshall is the President and CEO of Verdex Technologies, Inc., a new company devoted to the creation of nonwoven fiber materials made from biorenewable polymers and using solvent-free, green processing.
